One of the important studies in the R & D center is to develop and produce permanent magnet synchronous motors in order to make designs of these motors which have an important design and production deficit in our country and to produce new products and to work in the direction of eliminating defects in our country. As a matter of fact, the studies for the production of new products, which are the result of different studies, started to be made under the name of SMB brand.

Ülkemizde önemli bir tasarım ve üretim açığı bulunan bu tür motorların tasarımları yapılıp üretime geçirilerek hem firmaya yeni ürünler kazandırmak hem de ülkemizdeki açığı giderme yönünde çalışmalar yapmak amacıyla Ar-Ge merkezinde yapılan önemli çalışmalardan biri sürekli mıknatıslı senkron motorların geliştirilmesi ve üretilmesidir. Nitekim yapılan farklı çalışmalar sonucu ortaya çıkan yeni ürünlerin üretim çalışmaları SMB markası adı altında yapılmaya başlanmıştır.
